Fine Arts & Crafts in Wisconsin:

Recap: Free Range Art Summer Show

Thank you to all who braved the heat and humidity at this year's Free Range Art Summer Show which was held on August 6 & 7th at Nancy Going's beautiful farm in Cedarburg, Wisconsin. What I love most about being a crafter at these shows is all the support and encouragement from my fellow makers. Self employment can be a lonely place full of second guessing and doubts. This group of wonderful artists and the kind people who attend, are so positive and supportive. They truly keep my creative fire lit!

Home Sweet Home

I am super grateful that this cherry side table found a new home with repeat client, Mary Adashek. Mary sent this sweet photo of her new acquisition tucked away safely in her Cedarburg home.

Artist Spotlight: Andrew Linderman, Pottery

I love watching interesting process clips on Instagram, and Andrew Linderman's are mesmerizing. Andrew is a Studio Potter from Arena, Wisconsin. He is a former high school chemistry teacher who uses his mad science skills to create glazes which are enhanced by the firing process. You can see his demonstration videos by following him on Instagram @lindermanpottery or learn more about Andrew by heading to his website: www.lindermanpottery.com
